“RMI Members are highly responsive to the evolution and growth direction of the material handling market. ProMat is an opportunity to see the results of that focused research,” said Jonathan Hirst, Vice President and General Manager of RMI member North American Storage Equipment.

“Traditional retail and e-commerce sales volumes grew again last year by over 15%,” he continued. “That growth is tasking RMI members to support the market with responsive and efficient storage solutions, as well as communicating critical health and safety best practices. These include racking protection and inspections.”

Ray Niemeyer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at SpaceGuard Products, a member of ProGMA, agreed. “Rack guards, repair and containment systems have become a key expectation for personnel and product safety in the high-speed, fast-moving supply chain environment.”

Furthermore, the variety of protective guarding and safety products available to safeguard an operation covers a broad range of areas, he noted.

These solutions will be on display throughout ProMat 2023 by ProGMA members,” added Niemeyer. “Attendees will see the gamut: bollards and guarding for racks, docks, and machines; rack repair solutions; safety gates; netting, wire mesh panels, and more. The vast selection of industry safety solutions all on one show floor makes this one worth attending.”

• “Planning Your Rack System – Traditional and E-Commerce” is on Wednesday, March 22 from 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Central time in Theater H.
